As a traveling notary we are commissioned by the California secretary of state in Sacramento and our commission lasts for four (4) years. Our current commission expires in July of 2007. Some of our clients include families adopting children either domestically or internationally. We notarize many adoption related documents including home study, personal reference letters, doctor medical exam forms, financial statements, police clearance letters, verification of employment as well as cover letters authenticating CIS or INS documents such as the I-171H or I-600 and I-600A. Our clients work with many different agencies both in California, locally and across the U.S. We have helped clients from many adoption agencies including Great Wall of China, GWCA, Holt, Bay Area Adoption Services, BAAS, Accept Adoption Services, Bethany and CCAI - many of which are non profit agencies. Because we notarize the home study documents as well we also have a large network of licensed family social workers LFSW that we are in contact with on a regular basis. These agencies work with countries all over the world such as Japan, China, Guatamala, El Salvador, Russia, India, Germany, Mexico, Columbia, Chile and Taiwan. So the documents we process must be accurate and complete - we double and tripple check our work to avoid delays in processing due to notary processing errors.

Notaries can provide indentity verification services for many other types of documents as well including immigration, real estate loans and lending , lost luggage and lost checks forms, general and specific power of attorney documents as well as wills if so directed by a practicing California attorney familiar with state probate and estate laws. We receive many referals for our services from banks such as Washington Mutual, Wamu, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Bank of the West, First Bank, First Tennessee, FTB, First Horizon and Home Bank. Title insurance companies and mortgage lenders such as First Republic Title Company, Cornerstone Title, Fidelity Title, North American Title Insurance Company, Countrywide Home Loans, First Horizon Home Loans, Wells Fargo Lending, Washington Mutual Lending, Aurora Funding, Greentree Lending, Home Gain and E Loan often contract with us to provide loan signing, or accomodation services to their clients. We can process just about any type of loan document including first loans, second loans, heloc or home equity lines of credit, bridge loans, cash out, take out, construction loans, commercial loans or even land only loans. We walk the borrower through the entire sign-off procedure which often includes signing and/or notarizing many documents such as the note, a deed, signature verification affidavits, requests for back tax returns, w-9 statements and loan disclosure statements. However, since we are not mortgage brokers, loan agents, lenders, title officers or processors, we are unable to discuss any of the terms of the loans or give advice about fees, points, loan costs, margin rates, index choices, estimated or final closing costs, non-recurring costs, current or future interest rates, lending procedures. It is our primary task to deliver the documents in timiely fashion to the borrower, verify their identity while asking them to sign and/or initial all the documents as needed. Once all documents have been signed by the borrower it is the notary's duty to notarize those documents requiring notarization and then to return all documents in a neat and clean fashion promptly back to the title company for completion of the loan process.

We take our job seriously and have invested in many additional hours of secondary education to keep current on document notarizations and loan processing. We have taken courses at many local colleges including De Anza College in Cupertino as well as the Sunnyvale Adult Education Center. We also network with many notary reference agencies and websites including notary rotary, mortgagedocs.com, vistanotary, 24-7 signing agents, integritynotary.com, specialtynotary.com, angelnotary.com, usanotary.net and 50statenotary.com.
